Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Cuddalore for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for performing routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of machinery. Additional duties include diagnosing breakdowns, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. Collaboration with other team members to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Mechanical Maintenance practices
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance techniques to ensure equipment reliability
- Knowledge of Maintenance Engineering and Maintenance & Repair protocols
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety standards
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is an advantage
- Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment
