🚀 Hiring: Mechanical Engineer – Precision Manufacturing (VMC + 4th Axis)

🔧 Role Overview

We are looking for hands-on Mechanical Engineers with strong exposure to VMC machining and CAM programming, capable of working on high-precision components using 4th axis setups.

If you understand machining not just theoretically—but from a tool, setup, and cycle-time perspective, this role is for you.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize VMC machining processes, including 4th axis operations
• Develop and optimize components specifically for precision machining processes (VMC, CNC turning, grinding, boring, honing)
• Check designs before release to ensure first-time-right manufacturing
• Drive improvements in surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and repeatability Create and validate CAM programs for precision components
• Select appropriate cutting tools, tool paths, feeds & speeds for optimal performance
• Plan and execute efficient setups, clamping, and fixturing strategies
• Improve cycle time, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy
• Work closely with design and QA teams to ensure manufacturability and quality compliance
• Troubleshoot machining issues such as tool wear, chatter, and dimensional variation
• Ensure repeatability and consistency in batch production
• Drive continuous improvement in machining processes and productivity

🧠 Skills & Requirements

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 2–4 years experience in VMC machining environment
• Strong exposure to 4th axis machining (rotary indexing / continuous)
• Hands-on experience in CAM software (Mastercam / Fusion 360 / Powermill / similar)
• Good understanding of cutting tools, machining parameters, and materials
• Knowledge of basic GD&T and drawing interpretation
• Practical understanding of fixturing, tool selection, and machining strategy
• Ability to work closely with shopfloor teams and solve real-time issues
