🚀 We’re Hiring: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Steel / Rolling Mill) – Jamshedpur
We are looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in long product mills and flat product mills, along with excellent industry connections, to join our team in Jamshedpur.
🔧 Role Overview:
This is a strategic role where you will manage and optimize plant machinery while also leveraging your network within the steel industry to help scale and expand the company.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead maintenance and optimization of long product mills (TMT, rods, sections) and flat product mills (HR/CR coils, sheets)
• Improve plant efficiency, uptime, and productivity
• Identify opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and scaling operations
• Utilize strong connections across steel plants and industry stakeholders
• Support procurement, vendor development, and technical collaborations
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards
🎯 Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Extensive experience in steel/rolling mill operations
• Strong knowledge of both long and flat product mills
• Well-established network within the steel industry / other plants
• Proven ability to contribute to business growth and scaling
• Leadership mindset with strong communication skills
