Primax Equipment is looking to hire a full-time Mechanical Engineer with 10–15 years of experience, possessing strong expertise in civil and road construction equipment, along with customised steel fabrication design. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on industry experience, leadership capability, and a practical approach to driving product development, quality, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of civil and road construction equipment
- Translate product requirements into robust engineering solutions aligned with industry standards
- Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of complex mechanical issues in production
- Review and validate customised steel fabrication drawings and designs
- Drive initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, procurement, and sales teams
- Mentor junior engineers and support capability building within the team
- Ensure proper documentation, technical specifications, and compliance standards are maintained
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in construction equipment and/or heavy fabrication
- Strong understanding of civil and road construction machinery
- Proven ability to read, interpret, and approve mechanical designs and fabrication drawings
- Hands-on problem-solving ability with a practical, execution-focused mindset
- Experience in managing projects, vendors, and cross-functional coordination
- Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills
