Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer based in Delhi, India. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, prototyping, testing, and optimizing agri-machinery and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed mechanical and assembly designs, conducting performance tests, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure functional integration, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Additionally, the candidate will support cost-effective manufacturing processes and contribute to continuous innovation in product development.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mechanical Design, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and prototyping
- Experience with manufacturing processes, materials, and assembly methods
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, structural analysis, and thermodynamics
- Skills in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and test result evaluation
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Proficiency in software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools
- Familiarity with eco-friendly technologies and experience in the agriculture or automotive sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
