Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Bidar. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components for industrial projects, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and compliance requirements. Daily tasks include preparing detailed engineering drawings and specifications, performing calculations and simulations, and supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients to resolve technical issues, improve reliability, and support project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. The Mechanical Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, and reporting to enhance engineering standards and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, including design, analysis, and material selection.
- Proficiency with CAD and engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar), and familiarity with simulation/FEA software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of industrial standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices related to mechanical systems.
- Experience in installation, inspection, maintenance, or troubleshooting of mechanical equipment in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to support on-site operations and field activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in engineering roles within HR outsourcing, industrial services, or similar sectors is a plus.
