About the Job
We are looking for a motivated mechanical engineer to join our team and assist in the manufacturing of our products, along with supporting the design and execution of various engineering projects. In this role, you will work on creating, testing, and optimizing mechanical systems and components while actively participating in the end-to-end project workflow—from CAD design to manufacturing coordination. You will also collaborate with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the work.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
· Work on complex CAD design
· Contribute to industrial design initiatives
· Execute manufacturing and operations management
· Manage and execute vendor development
Required Skills & Experience
Ø Overall Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional industry experience in mechanical engineering and product development.
Ø Manufacturing Knowledge: 1 to 3 years of practical experience with manufacturing processes. Required knowledge includes injection moulding, material selection (specifically working with nylon and various other types of plastics), and laser cutting, CNC bending, and designing for /understanding CNC machines.
Ø CAD Expertise: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing advanced CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, CATIA, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Fusion 360.
Ø Industry Domain: Previous experience working on EV projects is highly preferred. Having participated in competitions like FSAE or BAJA is also valued.
Ø Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to take engineering designs from concept through to production. Excellent technical communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and manage external vendors.
Ø Work Style: Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, while efficiently managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
