Job details:
Posha is building robot kitchens for the future.
Our first product, the Posha Countertop was recognized as one of TIME’s Best Inventions of 2025 and received rave reviews from The Verge and WIRED for bringing robotics and AI into everyday kitchens.
We’re a fast-growing Series A–funded startup backed by Accel Partners and we’re just getting started.

🤔What can I expect from this role?
Posha is one of the rare robotics startups building production-grade consumer robots, with hundreds of units deployed in real homes.
This role involves working on mating of interior structure and exterior panels of the product that define its aesthetics.
🔧What will my work responsibilities look like if I join Posha?
- Own body fit and finish — panel gaps, flushness, shut lines, silhouette continuity across the assembled product
- Evaluate current designs, understand existing production issues and lead the redesign needed to fix it.
- Partner with industrial design and mechanical — translate the aesthetic intent into a structure that can actually be built repeatably
- Build the quality discipline — gauges, check fixtures, inspection criteria — so that "good fit and finish" is a measurable spec, not a judgment call
😍What makes you a match for us?
- 5+ years in body engineering — automotive BIW, body-in-white, exterior/closures, or appliance body works
- Deep instinct for panel gaps, shut lines, parallelism, and what controls them upstream in the sheet metal structure
- Hands-on experience with tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, and datum strategy on production parts
- Manufacturing-tilted: you've owned parts through stamping, forming, welding, and assembly — not only CAD
- Willingness to travel to China for extended durations during pilot builds and ramp. This is a real requirement of the role.
🚀What The World Thinks of Posha
- Posha is comparable to Tesla FSD
- “Posha is a fairly good sign that the future is closer than I thought” - The Verge
- Posha’s tagline is “See dinner cook itself, and it largely lives up to this.” - WIRED
Why Posha?
- Few organizations offer challenges similar to ours. Building completely autonomous cooking robots requires thinking from first principles and building from ground up.
- We believe that Posha is a generational company with the opportunity to alter the trajectory of how food is cooked inside homes today. This opportunity is parallel to how autonomous cars have made an impact.
- This role will be at the forefront of this opportunity.
