Position: Mechanical Engineer (Engineering & Manufacturing)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $7-$11/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 2 Weeks
Role Responsibilities
- Interpret technical specifications, engineering reports, and design documents to create accurate and realistic engineering prompts
- Analyze mechanical systems, components, and workflows to ensure technical correctness
- Develop structured engineering scenarios based on real-world applications across industries
- Review and validate engineering outputs for accuracy, feasibility, and clarity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering insights with project requirements
- Identify gaps in design logic, manufacturing feasibility, and performance considerations
- Support continuous improvement of engineering datasets and prompt quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred for advanced or specialized roles
- Strong understanding of mechanical design, engineering principles, and technical documentation
- Experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, heavy machinery, energy, or components manufacturing
- Ability to interpret CAD drawings, design specifications, and engineering reports
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
Good-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA)
- Experience in testing, validation, and design review processes
- Knowledge of root-cause analysis and failure investigation
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
