Role Description The Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating building services systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing elements for ongoing projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and checking drawings, coordinating with architects, structural engineers, and site teams, and ensuring that MEP installations comply with codes, standards, and project specifications. The role involves site inspections, resolving technical issues, monitoring contractor work, and supporting project planning and scheduling to keep execution on track. The MEP Engineer will also assist with material selection, technical documentation, and quality assurance for all related systems. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering skills, including experience with integrated building services.
- Practical expertise in Plumbing design and installation, including water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering for building services, such as power distribution, lighting, and safety systems.
- Experience in MEP Coordination to align mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts with architectural and structural plans.
- Understanding of Building Services systems, energy efficiency, and relevant national and international codes and standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in commercial or mixed-use developments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prepare reports, and use relevant CAD or BIM tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Good communication skills and readiness to work full-time at the Gurugram project location.
