· Create and review 3D models, engineering drawings, assemblies, bills of materials, and design documentation.
· Translate product requirements into practical mechanical architectures, specifications, and designs.
· Apply design for manufacturing, assembly, serviceability, reliability, and cost.
· Select materials, processes, and components based on performance, availability, and production needs.
· Work with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve fabrication, assembly, and quality issues.
· Plan and support prototyping, testing, design reviews, and engineering change processes.
· Identify design risks and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
· Establish mechanical design standards and mentor engineers and designers.
· Coordinate with electrical, systems, test, quality, and operations teams to deliver integrated products.
