Internship Overview:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern for a 6-month full-time internship, with a potential Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) based on performance. This role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys building real products, not just designing on CAD.
- Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical components using SolidWorks
- Work extensively on rapid prototyping (SLA & FDM 3D printing) (core focus)
- Design parts for plastic manufacturing (injection molding basics)
- Create and optimize sheet metal designs
- Key Competencies (Must-Have): Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (primary requirement)
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping (SLA & FDM) (very important)
- Understanding of plastic design principles
- Knowledge of sheet metal design
- Basic understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability)
- Eligibility: Final-year students or recent graduates in Mechanical Engineering (0–1 year experience)
- Strong project work or internship experience preferred
