Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer – Solidworks will work on-site at the Noida facility in a full-time capacity, contributing to the design and development of filtration, gas generation, and waste engineering machines. The role involves creating and modifying 3D models and detailed engineering drawings in Solidworks, ensuring designs meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, and safety requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with R&D and production teams, performing basic calculations and tolerance analysis, preparing BOMs, and supporting prototyping and testing activities. The engineer will also assist in design reviews, incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholders, and support continuous improvement of existing product lines. Documentation of design changes, adherence to relevant standards, and close coordination with manufacturing and quality teams will be part of day-to-day tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex machinery. SOLIDWORKS IS A MUST
- Hands-on experience in Machine Design and Product Design, preferably for industrial equipment, filtration systems, or process machinery.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), specifically Solidworks, including 3D modeling, detailing, and assembly design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials selection, GD&T, and basic structural or thermal considerations.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and standards, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with R&D, production, and quality teams on-site.
- Prior experience in equipment design for oil, gas, water treatment, or waste engineering sectors is an advantage.
