Employment Type: 6-Month Contract (Extension Based on Performance & Project Requirements)
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with 0.5 to 2 years of experience in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. Passionate freshers with strong SolidWorks skills and a solid understanding of mechanical design are also encouraged to apply.
Key Requirements
- 0.5 to 2 years of experience in SolidWorks (Freshers with excellent SolidWorks proficiency may also apply)
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Experience in 3D modeling, assembly modeling, and 2D manufacturing drawings
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal, fabrication, machining, or product design is an added advantage
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow design standards
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D CAD models and assemblies in SolidWorks
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T and BOMs where required
- Support product development and engineering design activities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver projects on schedule
- Maintain design documentation and follow project standards
Contract Details
- Initial contract period: 6 months
- Opportunity for extension based on performance and project requirements
- Immediate joiners are preferred
