Our client is an early-stage robotics company building automation systems for industrial applications. The team develops core hardware in-house, including actuators, sensors, and control systems, to create solutions that handle tasks requiring precision, adaptability, and real-world reliability, areas where traditional automation is limited.

Job Description

  • Work across the full product lifecycle - concept, design, prototyping, testing, and production
  • Design mechanical systems including mechanisms, linkages, actuators, and assemblies for robotic platforms
  • Apply first-principles engineering across mechanics, materials, and geometry in design decisions
  • Perform CAD design, FEA analysis, and DFM/assembly considerations
  • Work closely with manufacturing, vendors, and internal teams to build and scale products
  • Contribute to prototype builds, testing, and iterative improvements


The Successful Applicant

A strong candidate is a mechanical/industrial/design engineer with 7-10 years of experience designing and delivering complex electromechanical systems from concept to production. They bring hands-on expertise in CAD, FEA, DFM/DFA, and have worked on motion systems involving actuators, linkages, or precision mechanisms, with exposure to real-world builds and manufacturing.

They are comfortable working across design, prototyping, and testing, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and approach problems from first principles in fast-paced environments.
