Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work on-site in Sanand in a full-time capacity, responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for industrial applications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing detailed 3D models and drawings using CAD tools, conducting design calculations, and ensuring mechanical designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, procurement, and quality to support prototyping, testing, and design validation. The Mechanical Design Engineer will also participate in design reviews, optimize existing products, prepare technical documentation, and provide engineering support during production and installation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering.
- Candidates should possess applied expertise in Machine Design and Product Design.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and 3D modeling software.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, including design for manufacturability and assembly, is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and specifications, and familiarity with tolerance and material selection.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Understanding of basic engineering calculations, stress analysis, and safety regulations related to mechanical systems is an advantage.
