Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer will work full time on-site in Faridabad, contributing to the design and development of induction furnaces and related mechanical components. Responsibilities include creating and updating detailed 3D and 2D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications, while ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and manufacturing requirements. The role involves collaborating with production, quality, and procurement teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost, supporting prototype builds, and resolving design-related issues. The Mechanical Design Engineer will also perform basic calculations, assist in design reviews, implement design improvements based on feedback, and maintain documentation and standards for all assigned projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering skills.
- Candidates should possess competency in Machine Design and Product Design.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in industrial equipment design, preferably furnaces or heavy machinery, is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site.
