Position: Mechanical Designer Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Designer / Draftsman with experience in Electrical Panel Industry. The candidate should have knowledge of panel GA drawings, fabrication drawings, busbar layouts, BOM preparation, and sheet metal design. Candidate must be able to coordinate with production, electrical design, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare GA (General Arrangement) drawings for LT/HT electrical panels.
Prepare fabrication drawings for panel manufacturing.
Design sheet metal parts, panel structure, doors, covers, and mounting arrangements.
Prepare busbar support and mechanical layout drawings.
Generate BOM (Bill of Material) as per approved drawings.
Coordinate with electrical design team for component placements.
Modify drawings as per customer comments and site requirements.
Ensure drawings are released as per project schedule.
Support production team during fabrication and assembly.
Maintain drawing records and revision control.
Follow company standards and customer specifications.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.
Good understanding of sheet metal design.
Knowledge of electrical panel manufacturing process.
Understanding of fabrication, welding, powder coating, and assembly.
Ability to read electrical schematic drawings.
Knowledge of IP protection and panel standards.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification:
Diploma / BE Mechanical Engineering
ITI Draftsman Mechanical also acceptable with relevant experience
Experience:
2 to 8 years in Electrical Panel Industry
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
PCC, MCC, APFC, PLC, VFD ,M.box & RTCC panel design
Busbar arrangement and panel internal layout
CNC bending and laser cutting process
Material planning and estimation support
Salary:
