Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer based in Ahmedabad. The role involves designing mechanical components and systems, developing and testing prototypes, and analyzing design problems to implement effective solutions. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess project feasibility, and ensure compliance with mechanical design standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools
- Experience in mechanical design principles, material selection, and manufacturing processes
- Skills in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing prototypes and final designs
- Ability to perform stress analysis and simulations for mechanical components
- Familiarity with renewable energy systems and a passion for sustainable solutions
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for teamwork and project coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Prior experience in mechanical design, preferably in energy or automation industries, is an advantage
