Required professional Experience: 3 to 5 years
Required Qualification: Bachelor / Master’s in mechanical engineering
Location Requirement: This position requires the candidate to be based and work on-site in Palwal, Haryana for the initial 6 months to 1 year of the project. Upon successful completion of this assignment period, the base location will be transitioned to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, as per project requirements.
The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support mechanical engineering solutions that meet quality, cost, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with local and global teams to ensure successful project execution, standardization, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D models, 2D drawings, and mechanical designs using PTC Creo in accordance with engineering standards.
- Prepare and manage technical change requests, engineering documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Develop mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and customer-specific designs based on approved references and specifications.
- Support the preparation of project testing instructions and related technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with manufacturing processes, quality standards, and production requirements.
- Collaborate with local and global engineering teams to support project execution and engineering changes.
Professional Competency Required:
- CAD & Design Skills: Proficient in PTC Creo and mechanical design documentation (3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and engineering changes).
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Understanding of production processes and engineering standards to support design, testing, and product development.
