Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Coimbatore area for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The role involves designing and developing mechanical systems, including machine designs, BIW fixtures, and product components using cutting-edge techniques. Daily responsibilities include utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create detailed technical drawings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design optimization, and contributing to product innovation and development. Ensuring compliance with industry standards and technical feasibility is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design techniques.
- Strong knowledge of Machine Design and Mechanical Engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for technical modeling and drafting.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with industrial automation, BIW fixtures, or related systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.
