Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Creo and Windchill, with prior experience working in an engineering services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using Creo.
- Manage CAD data and product structures using Windchill PLM.
- Perform design modifications, detailing, and drafting as per project requirements.
- Ensure adherence to design standards, GD&T, and company guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design development and validation.
- Maintain version control and BOM structures in Windchill.
- Support engineering change management (ECN/ECR process).
- Review and validate CAD data for accuracy and manufacturability.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Creo (Part, Assembly, Drawing modules).
- Hands-on experience with Windchill (PLM system).
- Good understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes.
- Experience in handling large assemblies and complex models.
- Knowledge of engineering drawing standards (ISO/ASME).
- Familiarity with BOM management and revision control.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience working in an Engineering Services company is highly preferred.
- Exposure to product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.
- Basic understanding of sheet metal, casting, and machining components.
