Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Ghaziabad. The Mechanical Design Engineer will design and develop shot blasting machines, shot peening equipment, and painting booths, ensuring that solutions meet performance, safety, and cost targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating detailed CAD models and drawings, performing design calculations, supporting prototype development, and collaborating with production, quality, and service teams. The role also involves reviewing customer requirements, adapting standard designs to specific applications, participating in design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of existing products.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering skills, with a solid foundation in mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
- Candidates should possess practical knowldge on shot blasting machine
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and 3D/2D modeling for manufacturing drawings and assemblies.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and basic structural and thermal analysis relevant to heavy industrial equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and engineering documentation, and to work accurately within deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams on-site.
- Experience in surface preparation, industrial machinery, or capital equipment design is an advantage.
