We are seeking skilled Mechanical BIM Engineers to support our US-based projects. The ideal candidates will have strong technical expertise in BIM modeling, HVAC systems, and coordination across disciplines, along with the ability to perform essential engineering calculations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage BIM models for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and ductwork
- Perform pipe and duct modeling with accurate sizing
- Create and manage Revit sheets, views, and templates
- Prepare and maintain Revit schedules
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other disciplines
- Perform and validate HVAC engineering calculations
- Conduct QA/QC checks on BIM models and deliverables
- Review submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills (Mandatory)
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
- Experience in pipe and duct modeling, including sizing
- Knowledge of sheet setup, view creation, and template setup in Revit
- Experience in Revit schedule creation
- Strong coordination skills with multi-disciplinary teams
Engineering Calculations:
- Load calculations (Trace / HAP)
- Pump head calculation
- Expansion tank calculation
- Static pressure calculation
- Ventilation calculation
- Refrigerant calculation
- QA/QC knowledge
- Submittal review experience
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Comcheck / EnergyPro
- Experience in US-based projects
Additional Notes:
- Candidates with relevant hands-on project experience will be prioritized
- Strong communication and coordination skills are essential
