Role Description The Mechanical and Electrical Executive is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad. This role is responsible for overseeing mechanical and electrical systems within the manufacturing facility, including installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment and utilities. The executive will coordinate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring machine performance, planning preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting equipment upgrades, and maintaining accurate technical documentation and reports. The role also involves working with vendors and service providers, assisting in commissioning new machinery, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that support safe, stable, and scalable manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge, including industrial machinery, utility systems (HVAC, compressed air, water systems), and preventive maintenance practices.
- Solid electrical engineering skills, including power distribution, control panels, motor drives, PLC interfaces, and basic instrumentation.
- Experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or related process industries.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) relevant to production environments.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning, spare parts management, and basic maintenance-related documentation and reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and process deviations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related discipline) from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in a plant engineering, maintenance, or utilities role is preferred
