At Robok Labs, we design and develop electronics products across industries — from industrial systems to next-generation devices.
Now, we’re looking for a Mechanical 3D Product Designer who can own the physical form of these products.
Work setup:
- Full-time / Part-time / Contract — all options open
- Remote / Hybrid (preferred: Canada / US time zones)
What you’ll work on:
- Design product housings and enclosures for electronics systems
- Create 3D models and detailed 2D drawings ready for manufacturing
- Work on DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and real-world constraints
- Select materials (plastics, metals, composites) based on application
- Collaborate directly with the founding team and CEO
- Translate rough concepts into production-ready designs
What we’re looking for:
- Strong experience in 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Creo, etc.)
- Ability to visualize products in 3D from first principles
- Hands-on understanding of manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC, sheet metal)
- Experience creating engineering drawings and tolerancing (GD&T preferred)
- Knowledge of material selection and mechanical design trade-offs
- Self-driven, ownership mindset — no hand-holding
