Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Mechanical Design Engineer. Key responsibilities include developing mechanical design solutions, creating detailed CAD models, and contributing to product design processes. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the functional and aesthetic integrity of designs and take part in project review meetings. Additionally, the engineer will provide technical inputs to optimize processes and ensure compliance with global medical device standards and regulatory requirements.

🎯 Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
🕒 Experience: 3–4 Years
📍 Location: Hebbal, Bangalore
✅ Key Requirements
• 3–4 years of experience in Mechanical Design, preferably in the Medical Device / MedTech domain
• Strong experience in SolidWorks (preferred) for 3D modeling and drafting
• Knowledge of concept design, product development, prototyping, and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, material selection, and DFM/DFA
• Awareness of ISO 13485, ISO 14971, Design Controls, Risk Management, and V&V activities
• Experience in design documentation, engineering changes, and technical reviews
• Exposure to medical instruments, implants, or disposable device development is preferred
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Suppliers
🔧 Preferred Exposure
• Arthroscopy / Orthopedic device development
• Prototype handling and supplier coordination
• Verification & Validation testing support
• Design review and usability considerations
