Role Description The Measurement Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for performing accurate measurements at project or customer locations, recording data clearly, and sharing measurements with relevant internal teams for planning and execution. The Measurement Executive will visit sites, assess requirements, verify dimensions against plans or drawings, and ensure that all measurements meet company standards and client expectations. The role involves coordinating with sales, operations, and installation teams to clarify site conditions, resolve measurement-related issues, and support timely project delivery. The Measurement Executive will also maintain measurement records, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to improving measurement processes and tools.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform precise on-site measurements, interpret basic technical drawings, and use measurement tools and instruments accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and basic data recording or documentation skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional teams on-site and in the office.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple site visits, meet deadlines, and maintain structured records.
- Comfort with working on-site, including travel within Chennai, adherence to safety procedures, and professionalism in customer-facing situations.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., spreadsheets, email, mobile apps) for entering measurement data and preparing simple reports.
- Prior experience in measurement, site surveying, field operations, or a related role is an advantage.
- Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in a related field is preferred.
