Role: Measurement & Analysis Engineer

About The Team And The Role
The Product Validation team at Ather is responsible for system and vehicle level testing, focusing on RLDA, vibration profiling, and attribute testing for powertrain systems.
This role is for a Measurement & Analysis Engineer who will execute test cases, manage instrumentation, and deliver high-quality data analysis to ensure product accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Execute system and vehicle level RLDA tests and derive vibration profiles for validation.
- Conduct performance and thermal attribute testing for powertrain systems and vehicle range.
- Manage test case execution with available resources to ensure timely delivery of results.
- Collaborate with system, design, and simulation engineers to ensure testing accuracy.
- Identify, raise, and highlight critical system or vehicle failures through bug tracking.
- Ensure proper usage and maintenance of all testing equipment, instruments, and machinery.
- Develop and maintain test standards and procedures to suit evolving testing requirements.
- Generate comprehensive quality test reports with relevant technical insights and data.
Experience And Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-6 years’ experience in instrumentation, data acquisition, and data processing within a testing environment.
Must Have Competencies
- RLDA testing and derivation of vibration profiles for vehicle and system levels.
- Proficiency in data acquisition, instrumentation, and data processing techniques.
- Advanced data analysis using nCode software for structural and durability assessment.
- Technical knowledge of electric vehicle performance, thermal attributes, and range testing.
Good to Have Competencies
- Strain gauging and data acquisition using specialized data loggers.
- Development of technical test specifications for component and vehicle level validation.
- Data visualization for interpreting complex test results and system performance.
- Knowledge of rig-level testing processes and experimental setup.
