Meenaar Global Consultants LLP (MGCLLP) is inviting applications from experienced and technically proficient MDPE Engineers to join our GAIL Gas Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Project in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
Position Details
Position: MDPE Engineer (PMC)
Project: GAIL Gas – PMC Project
Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand
Industry: City Gas Distribution (CGD) / Oil & Gas Infrastructure
Experience: 5–8 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, Pipeline Engineering, or any relevant engineering discipline
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of MDPE pipeline networks.
- Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
- Inspect electrofusion and butt fusion jointing activities in accordance with approved procedures.
- Witness and verify pressure testing, leak testing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with PNGRB regulations, HSE requirements, and applicable industry standards.
- Maintain project documentation, inspection records, progress reports, and coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in City Gas Distribution (CGD) or Oil & Gas Pipeline Projects.
- Hands-on experience in MDPE pipeline installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Prior experience in PMC, supervision, inspection, or quality assurance roles will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of electrofusion and butt fusion jointing techniques.
- Strong understanding of PNGRB guidelines, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
