Role Description The MD Anatomy role at Medifit Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Pathankot. The role involves teaching human anatomy to medical students through lectures, practical demonstrations, and small-group tutorials. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing academic materials, supervising laboratory sessions and dissections, and assessing student performance through exams and assignments. The role also entails participating in academic meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and staying current with advancements in anatomical science and medical education. The MD Anatomy professional may also be involved in mentoring students and supporting institutional academic goals.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of human anatomy, including gross, microscopic, and developmental anatomy.
- Demonstrated ability in teaching, academic instruction, and student assessment in a medical college or similar setting.
- Strong skills in designing lesson plans, preparing educational materials, and conducting practical demonstrations.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for working with students and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within academic teams and contribute to curriculum and departmental activities.
- Commitment to evidence-based medical education and continuous professional development.
- MD (Anatomy) or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized institution.
- Prior teaching or academic experience in anatomy is highly desirable.
