Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform configuration and customization of the ServiceNow platform, including workflows, portals, catalog items, and reports.
- Build Service Request Fulfillment workflows using Workflows, UI Actions, Client Scripts, Business Rules, and Flow Designer.
- Automate business processes using ServiceNow functionality and scripting.
- Develop integrations and process automations via Orchestration, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs.
- Work on CMDB-related processes: data imports, CI relationships, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
- Implement advanced customizations (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Pages, UI Macros, Client Scripts, Custom Tables).
- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with clients and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Perform system and integration testing with sample and live data to validate functionality.
- Handle platform upgrades, migrations, and release management while adhering to ServiceNow best practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for workflows, integrations, and platform enhancements.
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- ServiceNow ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Catalog)
- ITAM/ITOM modules (Asset Management, Discovery, Service Mapping)
- SPM / PPM experience
- Strong scripting skills (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Workflow, Flow Designer)
- Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Orchestration, IntegrationHub)
- Shell Scripting knowledge
- Strong communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
- ITIL knowledge and certifications
- HAM / SAM experience
- Experience in Predictive Intelligence, AI Search, or Performance Analytics
- Advanced Service Portal customization (custom widgets, UI Builder)
- Experience in multi-instance environment management (Update Set migration, ATF testing)
