Software Delivery Specialist (DevOps)

As a Software Delivery Specialist (DevOps), you will be responsible for driving the evolution and optimization of McKinsey's next-generation software delivery capabilities. You will work closely with our engineering teams to design and implement cloud-native, highly automated and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines that enable rapid innovation and delivery of our industry-leading software products. Responsibilities: - Design and implement robust cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring/alerting systems to support the delivery of McKinsey's software products - Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand their requirements and champion DevOps best practices - Evangelize and drive the adoption of DevOps methodologies, tools, and automation across the organization - Proactively identify opportunities to improve software delivery processes and champion new approaches - Own the entire software delivery lifecycle, from infrastructure provisioning to production deployments and incident response - Mentor and coach team members to continuously improve their DevOps skills and capabilities Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering role, designing and implementing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines - Proficient in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible - Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP - Ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Excellent communication and collaboration skills
