SUMMARY
Join our team as a Landscape Laborer on our mow crew and help keep our community spaces safe, clean, and looking their best. In this hands on role, you’ll work across streets, parks, and public facilities, making a visible impact every day. WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you’ll take on a variety of tasks that keep our facilities and public spaces running smoothly. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain clean and safe public areas by removing litter and debris
- Perform landscaping tasks such as weed removal, brush cutting, and pruning
- Plant and maintain grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs
- Assist with minor repairs including graffiti removal and vandalism cleanup
- Maintain drainage systems, including ditches and inlets
- Support spill cleanup and environmental safety efforts
- Complete simple daily work reports
- Operate tools and equipment (training provided as needed)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0–3 years of related experience (or willingness to learn on the job)
- A strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a Live Scan background check
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is an active, hands-on role. You should be comfortable with:
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the day
- Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly (team lifting for heavier items)
- Working in outdoor environments and around equipment and traffic
WORK ENVIRONMENT
You’ll primarily work outdoors and may be exposed to:
- Weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Equipment, traffic, and construction-related environments
- Moderate to loud noise levels
