In this role, you will document the company’s financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage payroll. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting. </div><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities </strong></div><ul>
<li>Enter financial data and transactions</li>
<li>Analyze budgets and other financial information</li>
<li>Prepare federal and state individual and business income tax returns. </li>
<li>Prepare financial reports and statements</li>
<li>Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered</li>
<li>Prepare trial balances and adjusting journal entries</li>
<li>Meet with clients and their accounting team</li>
<li>Participate in strategic planning</li>

</ul><div><strong>Qualifications</strong></div><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field </li>
<li>Valid CPA certification in compliance with the state Board of Accountancy regulations</li>
<li>Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)</li>
<li>Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systems</li>
<li>Strong mathematical and analytical skills</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills</li>
</ul>
