Company Description Harit Pradesh Milk Producer Organisation is a Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) governed by NDDB-NDS, operating across seven districts of western Uttar Pradesh: Bulandshahr, Meerut, Hapur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, and Saharanpur. The organisation currently manages around 1,800 village-level milk collection centers and 12 chilling facilities, serving more than 60,000 rural marginal farmers. Its operations focus on strengthening the milk collection and chilling network to support sustainable livelihoods for dairy producers. Harit Pradesh Milk Producer Organisation is committed to improving per-animal productivity in its milkshed through better practices, services, and support to member farmers. Role Description The MCC Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based in Bulandshahr, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a Milk Collection Center and associated chilling facilities. The role includes supervising milk reception, ensuring accurate testing and quality control, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and overseeing proper storage and chilling of milk. The MCC Incharge will coordinate with village-level collection points, farmers, transporters, and central office teams to ensure timely dispatches and adherence to operational protocols. Daily responsibilities also involve record-keeping, monitoring equipment performance, supporting basic maintenance, and preparing operational reports. The role requires regular interaction with local farmers to provide guidance on milk quality, collection procedures, and organisational policies.
Qualifications
- Strong operational management skills in dairy or similar agri-supply chain, including experience in handling collection centers or small production units.
- Knowledge of milk quality parameters, testing procedures, hygiene standards, and cold chain handling at collection and chilling centers.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, use basic computer applications, and prepare daily and periodic reports for management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with farmers, local stakeholders, and internal teams, with a customer-service mindset.
- Basic technical understanding of chilling equipment and willingness to coordinate maintenance and minor troubleshooting activities.
- Minimum educational qualification: diploma or graduate degree in dairy technology, agriculture, animal husbandry, or a related field; relevant field experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to work independently on-site, take accountability for operational outcomes, and adhere to organisational policies and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with rural contexts in western Uttar Pradesh and willingness to travel locally as required.
