Software Development Engineer Test

McAfee is looking for an SDET position role who can contribute to and review the creation of designs for production software. The responsibilities include both software development and security testing tasks and focus on the testability, robustness, and performance of production software. Looking for a test professional with advanced programming skills who can contribute to the testing process along with the creation of automation testing tools and frameworks to assist the manual testing process. This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location. Works with the product development teams throughout the product life cycle to ensure software quality requirements and goals are established and met. Responsible for automating functional and non-functional tests to deliver high-quality products and proactively identify and communicate roadblocks and evaluate and suggest alternatives. You will be building partnerships and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties, including Dev and QA teams, program/product managers, and other project stakeholders. You will be expected to be involved in some manual test efforts on projects that do not have automated testing.
