Role Description The MCA Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all corporate compliance requirements under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) for Verdicto and its client entities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and filing statutory forms and returns, maintaining ROC records, monitoring compliance calendars, and ensuring timely filings related to incorporations, annual returns, board resolutions, and other corporate events. The role involves reviewing and drafting corporate documents, coordinating with internal teams and external professionals, and advising on Companies Act, 2013 and related rules to minimize non-compliance risk. The MCA Compliance Officer will also assist in process improvement, support audits or inspections, and contribute to building standardized compliance workflows aligned with Verdicto’s technology-driven platform.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of MCA regulations, Companies Act, 2013, and related rules, with hands-on experience in ROC filings, annual compliances, and corporate secretarial work.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing statutory documents, resolutions, notices, and minutes, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Comfort using MCA portal and other compliance-related software tools, with ability to manage compliance trackers, calendars, and digital records.
- Excellent analytical and research skills to interpret regulatory changes, assess impact, and recommend practical compliance solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders, external professionals, and clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple filings, deadlines, and client requirements simultaneously.
- Relevant professional qualification such as Company Secretary (CS), Semi-qualified CS, Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent corporate compliance background; prior experience in a legal, consulting, or fintech/legal-tech environment is an advantage.
