Role Overview
The candidate will act as a
frontline site supervisor responsible for supervising labour teams and ensuring proper execution of construction activities at site. The role involves
daily monitoring of work progress, coordinating with subcontractors and labour teams, and supporting engineers and tower incharge in achieving construction targets with required quality and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities such as RCC works, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, and finishing works.
- Ensure work is executed as per instructions from Engineers and Tower Incharge.
- Monitor labour productivity and work progress at the site.
Labour & Subcontractor Management
- Coordinate with labour contractors and subcontractor teams for execution of assigned work.
- Ensure proper deployment of labour, tools, and materials for daily site activities.
- Maintain discipline and ensure smooth functioning of labour teams.
Work Execution Monitoring
- Assist engineers in setting out works, layout marking, and execution planning.
- Ensure work is carried out as per drawings and construction guidelines.
- Monitor work fronts and immediately report issues or delays.
Quality Control
- Ensure work is performed with proper workmanship and quality standards.
- Identify defects or deviations during construction and inform engineers for corrective action.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure workers follow site safety rules and use required PPE.
- Maintain safe working practices at the site and prevent unsafe activities.
Daily Reporting
- Provide daily updates on work progress, labour strength, and material requirements.
- Inform Engineers or Tower Incharge about site challenges, delays, or technical issues.
Technical / Functional Skills
- Practical knowledge of construction site operations and labour supervision
- Basic understanding of RCC and finishing construction activities
- Ability to coordinate multiple labour teams at site
- Basic ability to read construction drawings (preferred)

- Strong labour handling and supervision capability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Practical problem-solving ability at site
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts under tight timelines
