Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch or modify existing ones.
• Maintain and update existing WordPress websites to ensure optimal performance.

• Collaborate with the design team to implement attractive and functional websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress developer (portfolio required).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and database management.
• Hands-on experience with WordPress themes, templates, and plugin development.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WP Bakery, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of website architecture, user experience, and aesthetics.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Working knowledge of SEO best practices for WordPress.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex development and design issues.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience working with WooCommerce and other e-commerce integrations.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Knowledge of modern development tools like Sass, LESS, and Webpack.
• Familiarity with security plugins and optimization tools (e.g., Wordfence, WP Rocket).
• Experience with website hosting, domain management, and basic server administration.
