This is a temporary but essential role within the Culture function focused on the transformation of HR case advice approach and the design of a more proactive approach to dispute resolution. As we transition from an advisory service to a predominantly self-serve service, this role will play a key part of the project team, and our management population will rely on this role for coaching to embed the required behaviours and capability to successfully move to the new operating model.

As a key part of the Empower project team, you will support all aspects of project delivery. You will work closely with the business, to drive effective adoption of Empower (our new approach to case management advice) across the divisions, gathering continuous feedback to inform embedding plans.

Develop strategies to ensure accountability and management of complex employee relations cases happens with the business over time.

Provide necessary coaching and support to managers on sensitive cases, facilitating effective skills transfer for future decision making.

You will excel at collaborating cross-functionally, working to ensure that our values are woven into the fabric of our thinking and acting at Maximus UK.

You will support the senior manager disputes with complex employee relations cases.

You will use your experience to contribute to the design of a more proactive approach to dispute resolution, working closely with the senior manager disputes

You will collaborate across the Culture team to share learnings, feedback and insight to influence proposition development.

Leverage technology and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery within the Culture function.

Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve service quality, and drive cost-effective solutions that benefit both employees and the business.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation that drives our business growth agenda and creates and maintains a competitive edge in the market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive people business partnering experience, especially on sensitive and complex issues.
  • Strong examples of influencing behaviour change within management populations.
  • Passion, exposure and/or practical experience on continuous improvement methods.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling people solutions
  • Excellent communication skills; proven track record in communicating effectively and ability to inspire across all levels in the organisation
  • Ability to partner with, and coach leaders to ensure a values based approach to business and internal priorities
  • Experience working in a team environment, building relationships and influencing key partners, demonstrating ability to get results through collaboration
  • Experience of using data and analytics to drive insight and change
  • Strong interpersonal skills across all levels.
