Job Summary

As a Test Manager you will be responsible for focusing on Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering process. Excellent knowledge in STLC life cycle, which includes Design, Developing and Execution of the entire QA process and Documentation of Test plans, Test Procedures and Test Scripts and managing user acceptance testing (UAT) by performing various types of testing e.g., Integration, System, Blackbox, White Box, regression.

Roles & Responsibilities

•    Review Business Requirement, Functional Requirement, Architecture document and testing perspective for Data Conversion.
•    Responsible for Test Planning, Test Strategy, Design of Test Suites, Defect Management, Risk Mitigation Plans.
•    Prepare Work Breakdown Structure, Testing Project Plan, QA Effort Estimates and Resource Planning.
•    Work closely with Delivery Test leads & engineers in troubleshooting critical defects on defect resolution.
•    Participated in Daily Scrum Meeting and Weekly Meeting project meetings and providing QA status by highlighting risks.
•    Facilitated Defect Triage meeting and informing Senior Management of Risks / Issues discovered while testing.
•    Deep knowledge of Testing/ Domain specific QA best practices and industry trends.

•    Finding and assigning resources for the different tasks that have been defined.
•    Defining/agreeing what the documentation for the test project will be.
•    Seasoned QA Manager with track record of delivering high quality products in a fast-paced Environment.
•    Experience in “closing the loop” and “continuous improvement” of QA strategies based on learnings from field issues.
•    Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
•    Excellent communicator, well organized, good team builder, cooperative and composed under pressure, experienced with matrix management.

Education

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)
•    10 + years’ experience in Quality Assurance role and 2-3 years in Management or lead position.
