Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Maths Online Tutor. The Maths Online Tutor will be responsible for delivering interactive and engaging virtual tutoring sessions, focusing on mathematics concepts including algebra. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, explaining mathematical concepts in a clear and concise manner, addressing student queries, and fostering a positive learning environment. Tutors are expected to adhere to the student-centric teaching model and engage actively with learners to achieve defined educational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mathematics, including foundational topics and advanced areas such as Algebra
- Proficiency in Online Tutoring and Tutoring methods that facilitate interactive learning
- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills to effectively engage with students
- Ability to customize teaching methods to suit various learning styles
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in mathematics, is a strong advantage
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field is preferred
- Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners
