Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Maths K–12 Faculty role based in Gurugram. The faculty member will deliver clear, engaging mathematics lessons for K–12 learners, including foundational and advanced topics aligned with educational standards for state board students. Daily responsibilities include planning and structuring lessons, creating practice problems and assessments, and adapting teaching strategies to different learning levels. The role involves monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and offering doubt-clearing sessions to support individual learning needs. The faculty member will collaborate with academic teams to refine curricula, contribute to educational content, and uphold Filo’s commitment to accessible, high-quality learning.
Qualifications
- Strong subject-matter expertise in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics suitable for K–12 learners.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing lesson plans, assessments, and learning materials.
- Clear, student-centered communication skills and an engaging teaching style, both in classroom and small-group settings.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching experience at school or coaching/institute level, preferably working with diverse K–12 student groups.
- Comfort with educational technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and track student performance.
- Strong problem-solving approach, patience, and a passion for making quality education accessible to all learners.
