<div>Summer Learning Program Instructor – Summer 2026<br><br>We are seeking passionate and energetic Summer Learning Program Instructors to join our team for the 2026 summer season! As a Summer Instructor for our STEM Summer Program, your primary role will be to create a fun, engaging, and meaningful summer experience for elementary students. We value relationship-building, social-emotional learning, and inspiring curiosity through hands-on STEM activities and collaborative learning experiences.<br><br><strong><u>Position Details</u></strong><br>- Program Dates: <strong>June 29 – July 31, 2026</strong> (5 weeks, excluding 3 holidays)<br>- Work Schedule: <strong>Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM</strong><br>- Training Requirement: Minimum of 6 hours of paid training prior to program start<br>- Location: Seattle Public Elementary Schools <em>(specific school assignments will be announced in June)</em><br><br><strong><u>Responsibilities</u></strong><br>- Plan and lead engaging Summer Learning Enrichment activities for students in grades K–5<br>- Facilitate hands-on STEM projects, science explorations, and math enrichment activities<br>- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment<br>- Encourage student participation, creativity, and teamwork through interactive instruction<br>- Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and program coordinators<br>- Follow all program policies and safety procedures<br><br><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong><br>- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to a team environment<br>- Strong communication and classroom facilitation skills<br>- Enthusiastic and confident working with elementary-aged students<br>- Patient, dependable, and passionate about supporting young learners<br>- Experience working with elementary-aged children is required<br>- Experience in elementary education, camps, tutoring, or youth programs is required<br><br><strong><u>Job Type</u></strong><br>Part-Time / Seasonal (Summer Position)<br><br>If you are excited about making a positive impact on young learners and helping students develop a love for STEM, we would love to hear from you.
