Role Description The Mathematics Teacher will deliver high-quality classroom instruction in mathematics to students preparing for various competitive exams and academic programs. This full-time, on-site role in Thrissur involves planning and conducting engaging lessons, explaining concepts clearly, and using examples and practice problems aligned with exam patterns and academic standards. The teacher will design and update lesson plans, contribute to curriculum development, prepare and review assessments, and provide individual feedback and doubt-clearing sessions. Additional responsibilities include monitoring student progress, participating in faculty meetings and training, maintaining academic records, and collaborating with the teaching team to enhance overall learning outcomes.
Qualifications
- Strong subject expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to teach core and advanced topics clearly and accurately.
- Demonstrated experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including creating structured lesson plans, practice exercises, and exam-oriented content.
- Status as a Qualified Teacher, ideally with a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and explain complex ideas in simple terms.
- Experience teaching for competitive exams (e.g., CAT, CLAT, IPM, CUET, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Comfort using digital tools for teaching, test analysis, and student progress tracking.
- Commitment to student success, including readiness to conduct doubt-clearing sessions, extra classes, and performance reviews as needed.
