Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Mathematics Online Tutor. The tutor will be responsible for conducting interactive and engaging online math sessions for students aged 5 to 17. Daily responsibilities include designing lesson plans, simplifying complex mathematical concepts, providing support in algebra and other math topics, and monitoring students' progress to ensure learning objectives are achieved. The tutor will also assist in creating an encouraging and collaborative online classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Mathematics, including a strong understanding of key topics such as Algebra
- Experience in Online Tutoring and the ability to effectively use virtual teaching tools
- Strong skills in Tutoring, with the ability to explain concepts in a clear and engaging manner
- Outstanding Communication skills, including patience and the ability to connect with students of various age groups
- Ability to create interactive and student-centered lesson plans
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in Mathematics, Education, or related fields (preferred)
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring school-age children is a plus
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners to develop a love for mathematics
