Mathematics Expert (Masters/PhDs) - AI Training
About The Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to make that possible. We're looking for Mathematics experts with graduate-level credentials to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models — improving how they think, reason, and solve complex mathematical problems.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. If you have deep mathematical expertise and want to apply it to something genuinely consequential, this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do
- Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance
- Design complex, nuanced problem statements that challenge and improve AI reasoning
- Apply deep expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to evaluate model outputs
- Ensure mathematical rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables
- Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Holds a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
- Deeply fluent in at least one area — algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics
- Experienced using Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or technical projects
- Exceptionally clear communicator, both in writing and technical explanation
- Naturally detail-oriented with high standards for precision and correctness
- Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in academic research, teaching, or applied mathematical modeling
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning tools as an end user or researcher
