Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and passionate Mathematics, English & Social Science Content Writer to develop engaging, curriculum-aligned educational content for Pre-Primary to Grade 8 school books. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge and excellent writing skills to create high-quality learning material for young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original, curriculum-based content for Mathematics, English, and Social Science books for Pre-Primary to Grade 8.
- Write lessons, worksheets, activities, assessments, projects, and practice exercises.
- Create grammar exercises, reading comprehension passages, vocabulary activities, and creative writing content for English.
- Develop concept-based Mathematics content with examples, practice questions, and problem-solving exercises.
- Prepare engaging Social Science content covering EVS, History, Geography, and Civics as per curriculum requirements.
- Review, edit, and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Coordinate with editors, designers, and subject experts during book development.
- Ensure content is age-appropriate and aligned with the latest educational standards.
- Complete assigned projects within deadlines.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, English, Social Science, Education, Humanities, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or prior teaching experience is an added advantage.
Skills Required
- Excellent written English and communication skills.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics, English, and/or Social Science.
- Understanding of school curricula (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards preferred).
- Creative writing, research, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Ability to create engaging, child-friendly educational content.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in educational content writing, curriculum development, or textbook publishing is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and excellent writing skills are also welcome to apply.
