Position Summary

Cyboard School is seeking a passionate and skilled Mathematics Teacher to teach students in Grades 9-12 through interactive online classes. The teacher will be responsible for building strong conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills in Mathematics, following the CBSE/NIOS curriculum, using engaging digital tools and learner-centered teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and conduct live online Mathematics classes as per CBSE/NCERT syllabus
• Teach core mathematical concepts.
• Create digital lesson plans, interactive exercises, and visual aids to enhance students’ understanding of abstract concepts.
• Design and administer online assessments, quizzes, and assignments to track student progress.
• Provide clear explanations, step-by-step problem-solving guidance, and personalized academic support to students.
• Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, and application-based learning.
• Maintain digital records of attendance, grades, and performance.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and engagement.
• Collaborate with subject heads and colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching quality and assessment standards.
• Participate in staff meetings, training workshops, and professional development programs to enhance online teaching practices.
  
  

Qualifications And Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / Education or equivalent.
• Certification: B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Mathematics at the primary or secondary school level (CBSE-affiliated schools preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, MS Teams, or LMS tools).
• Ability to create digital content such as interactive quizzes, worksheets, and video lessons.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent command over mathematical concepts and communication in English.
• Strong presentation, analytical, and classroom management skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for online teaching.
